Job Description

Our client is currently in need of a Company Secretary. The preferred candidate should have had experience as a Company Secretary or an Admin/HR Manager coordinating admin and HR activities in a Manufacturing or corporate business enterprise with at least 10 years work experience in a similar role and not more than 45 years.
He/She must hold a bachelor’s degree in law, must possess excellent writing and communication skills, must be able to coordinate and ensure hitch free and a rules and regulations compliant work environment.

The Job description includes but is not limited to the following:

Maintaining current awareness about company law.
Develop policies and processes that will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the organization’s operations.
Attend to government agencies and officials visiting the company and ensure the company complies with business operational laws.
Review and attend to all forms of correspondence, draft letters, contracts,and agreements for the company.
Organize & record minutes of various meetings: Head of Department (HODs) meetings, Graduates, and all office staff meetings.
Providing legal, financial, andstrategic advice during and outside of meetings.
Advising management and members of the senior leadership team on corporate governance matters.
Keeping current with regulatory or statutory changes and policies that might affect the organization.
Handling correspondence before and after meetings;
Managing contractual arrangements with suppliers/customers
Advise Management based on demand analysis/forecast on office space capacity requirements, equipment and working tools, and improvement solutions
Any other assignments as may be assigned by Management.

The company commenced business with few products, today we have wide range of products which include Poundo Yam, Yam Flour, Cassava Flour, Plantain Flour, Beans Flour, Brown Beans and Cassava Fufu among others. All our products are duly registered by National Agency for Foods and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
All our products were initially exported to the U.K, USA, Canada, Australia and other countries. This lasted till July 2004. In August 2004, the company decided to promote its products in domestic market. The introduction of its brand, Ayoola Poundo Yam recorded remarkable success, increasing its market share in subsequent years. The brand has now become a household name in Nigeria.
