Position Overview:
The Bakery Chef will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a wide variety of pastries, breads, and other baked goods. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in a professional bakery setting, with a specialization in bakery and pastry. A culinary degree or equivalent experience is required.
Job Functions/Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, cakes, and other baked goods.
Design and decorate pastries to ensure a high level of creativity and presentation.
Develop new recipes and ensure consistent quality and taste.
Operate and maintain baking equipment and tools.
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Train and supervise junior bakers and kitchen staff.
Monitor baking processes to ensure products meet quality standards.
Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute seasonal and special menus.

Requirements/Qualifications

OND, HND, or BSc in Business Administration or any other related field is preferred.
Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in a professional bakery setting.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience in baking and pastry arts.
