Responsibilities and Duties
The Business Office Assistant Manager will complete the activities of the business office(billing, collection, financial counseling, and data processing). They will ensure accurate capturing and posting of financial activity, as well as maintain Accounts Receivable at amounts appropriate for market and payor mix.
You will have a minimum of two (2) years experience in a healthcare accounts receivable.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
You will have the knowledge of credit and collections, third party reimbursement, and accounting systems, and be self-directed with a high level of accountability and minimal supervision; Must have excellent time management and organizational skills; Present a professional attitude, attire, and demeanor; Posess excellent communication skills relating in person or on the telephone; Experience in various software applications including Microsoft Office and Medic
You will have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in a situation where only limited standardization exists. You will have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Must be alert and analytical.
