Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth initiatives for the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and customer needs.
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies and plans to achieve growth targets.
Identify and establish partnerships with healthcare providers, insurance companies, corporate clients, and community organizations.
Develop and execute initiatives to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement patient outreach and engagement programs.
Prepare business cases, financial models, and feasibility studies for new projects and service lines.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development initiatives and adjust strategies as necessary.
Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to align business development efforts with the hospital’s goals and objectives.
Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Maintain accurate records of business development activities, partnership agreements, and contracts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the healthcare industry
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of achieving business growth and development goals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of patients and partners.
Capacity to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
