Backhoe Operator Secondary School (SSCE) Job

Responsibilities & Duties


Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including backhoes, to complete construction projects
Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
Ensure that equipment is well-maintained and in good working order
Collaborate with other team members, including construction workers and engineers, to ensure that projects are completed on time.
Read and interpret plans and blueprints to ensure that projects are completed accurately
Prepare and maintain equipment.
Communicate effectively with other team members, clients, and stakeholders
Continuously seek opportunities to improve equipment performance and increase efficiency
