Job Overview

The backend developer will be responsible for developing and implementing server-side components, integrating data storage solutions, managing the interchange of data between the server and the users, and implementing security and data protection measures.

The Backend Developer will collaborate with frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to maintain and deliver efficient and scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities

Writes clean, testable code using .NET programming languages

Deploys functional websites, programs, and applications.

Deploys fully functional applications.

Upgrades existing programs.

Tests and debugs various .NET applications.

Drafts software and application operating procedures.

Reviews and refactors code.

Implements security measures and best practices to protect data and applications from vulnerabilities and attacks.

Conducts thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality and efficient code.

Gathers and addresses technical and design requirements.

Stays updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to contribute innovative ideas.

Designs, develops, and maintains scalable and efficient backend solutions using relevant technologies.

Troubleshoots and resolves backend issues, optimizing performance and addressing scalability challenges.

Participates in the planning and estimation of backend development tasks.

Deploys fully functional applications.

Performs other duties as assigned by line manager.

Minimum Educational Qualifications / Certifications / Years of Experience

B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.

A minimum of 4 years’ work experience.

Ability to understand and use dot net core, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, microservice APIs.

In-depth knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (like C# and Visual Basic .NET)

Familiarity with agile environments.

Troubleshooting abilities.

Must be willing to work fully onsite.
