As an Audit Associate, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for clients across various industries. You will be responsible for performing substantive testing, analyzing financial statements, and preparing audit documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements, including risk assessment, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and other audit procedures to evaluate the reasonableness of financial statement assertions.
- Analyze and interpret financial statements, accounting records, and other audit documentation to identify and communicate issues or trends to the audit team and clients.
- Identify and resolve accounting and auditing issues, including performing research, consulting with colleagues or industry experts, and applying technical knowledge.
- Review and document audit workpapers and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business, industry, and risk factors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in an audit firm
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, standards, and regulations
