Responsibilities

Audit and report the activities of Bible Society of Nigeria and Bible Guet House pan Nigeria.
Witness loading and off-loading of stock daily, as well as conduct stock taking at assigned locations.
Review daily cash composition and report exceptions to the Audit Manager within 24 hours.
Submit weekly and monthly reports of Lagos Territorial Distribution Officers and Bookshop Distribution to the Audit Manager.
Documenting key exceptions identified by Internal Audit Division while vouching payments and retirement requests and submitting the report to the Audit Manager at the end of every month.
Submit compiled report of observed and identified key exceptions during audit activities of the Societies operations to the Audit manager.
Carry out audit of assigned process of any unit, division, or department in The Bible Society of Nigeria.
Conduct audits of the location of interest of The Bible Society of Nigeria as assigned by the Audit Manager and submit reports within one week of completion of the assignment.
Verify fixed assets of The Bible Society of Nigeria and Bible Guest House as may be assigned by the Audit Manager.
Review requests for payments, cash advances, retirements and imprest reimbursements as may be assigned by the Audit Manager.
Ensure that other tasks assigned by the Audit Manager are completed in due course.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2-year cognate experience in an Internal Audit or Finance Function in a reputable organization.
Education: Must have a minimum of a National Diploma in Accounting and/ or ATS.
Good and practical knowledge of accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions or Sage 50.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
Must possess a positive work ethic, a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality.
Must be self-driven with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a practicing and committed Christian with turning point testimonies and experiences.
