Key Responsibilities:

Technical Operations Management:


Lead and manage the technical operations team, ensuring policy documents accuracy, the efficient handling of insurance and reinsurance placements.
Oversee underwriting, claims processing, and risk assessment functions.


Business Development:


Develop strategies to grow revenue by building strong client relationships and expanding the company's portfolio.
Own and hit/exceed sales targets


Regulatory Compliance:


Ensure all technical operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, policies, and regulations.


Reporting:


Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual technical reports.


Team Leadership and Development:


Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Implement training programs to enhance team expertise and efficiency.


Requirements


BA/BSc/HND; A Master's degree is an advantage.
Associate Member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN) or Chartered Insurance Institute, UK;
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior technical or managerial role;
Strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
Proven ability to manage technical operations and lead diverse teams;
Must have an all-round commercial awareness of the business and analytical approach to underwriting;
Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills;
Good use of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
