Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Officer for our client, an Agro-Commodities Trader delivering unmatched value to companies, farmers and processors. The Accounting Officer must have sound financial skills and a solid understanding of agriculture cost drivers.

Job Description

Prepare (daily, weekly and end-of-month) financial status reports

Documenting financial transactions by entering account information

Fact checking invoices for payment, processing and refunds

Summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statement and other reports

Prepare monthly financial reports be collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

Check and verify vendor bills before making payment advise

Helping in managing the risks of a company and supervising the salary of employees

Perform other functions as assigned by the management

Job Requirements

HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics / Business Administration or related field

Minimum 3 years’ experience working as an Accounting Officer In a Commodity Company

The candidate should be able demonstrate Accounting standard knowledge (financial modeling and budgeting)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be reliable, trustworthy and required to work with minimum supervision

Proficient use of Microsoft Office.

Suitable candidates must be based within Ogbomosho / surrounding environment orbe willing to relocate immediately.

Salary

N80,000 - N120,000 monthly.
