Accountant HND / BA / BSc Job

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIE

Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
Managing income and expenditure accounts
Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
Filing and remitting taxes and other regulatory obligations
Working with the financial and accounting software used by the company

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with accounting software and data entry
Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS standards that is relevant to the agriculture industry
Advanced knowledge and experience of spreadsheets
Ability to work independently
Analytical skills
Proficiency in Tally, SAGE ERP and/or other accounting packages. Proficiency in Excel
B.Sc/HND in Accounting
Must be a certified chartered Accountant (Associate of ICAN or ACCA)
