Accountant / Operations Bachelor Degree Job

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting transactions
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings of accounts
Reconciliation of portfolio's statement of clients and custodians /regulation
Ensure timely reconciliations
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations of the Asset Management/Securities

Requirements and skills

Work experience as Operations – Accountant
Understanding of Investment Banking Operations
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Hands-on experience with accounting software like Zanibal & Sage
Advanced MS Excel skills, Power Point etc
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
Partly Qualified/Qualified Accountant (ACA) is an added advantage
