Accountant - Don Quester Consulting HND / BA / BSc Job

Job Qualifications & Skills Required

B.Sc in Accounting, Finance with certification as a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of four years of relevant experience as an Accountant.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

Job Competency Requirements:

Ability to manage financial records and maintain accurate bookkeeping.

Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

Ability to process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Ability to reconcile bank statements, ensure accuracy in financial data and assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budget projections.

Ability to monitor and manage the company’s budget and expenses, handle payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.

Ability to assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits and provide financial advice and support to management as needed.
